Shipping Policy

Shipping Policy

At Automotive Equipment Solutions dba YouLiftMeUp, we work to make the delivery process as straightforward as possible. Because many of the products we sell are large, heavy automotive lifts and shop equipment, shipping methods and delivery requirements vary depending on the product and destination.

Free Shipping

Many products sold through www.uliftmeup.com may include FREE shipping within the contiguous United States when specifically identified as eligible for free shipping.

Free shipping applies only to the shipping method and delivery conditions included with the applicable product or order.

Certain products, locations, or delivery situations may require additional charges due to size, weight, destination, manufacturer requirements, or special delivery needs.

Additional charges may apply for services or locations including:

  • residential delivery;

  • limited-access locations;

  • lift-gate service;

  • construction sites;

  • farms or rural properties;

  • schools or government facilities;

  • re-delivery;

  • inside delivery;

  • special appointment requirements;

  • difficult or restricted truck access;

  • unloading services; or

  • other special freight requirements.

If additional shipping charges apply to your order, we will communicate those charges before shipment whenever reasonably possible.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, free shipping does not include unloading, installation, assembly, placement, electrical work, concrete work, or white-glove service.

Order Confirmation

After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation acknowledging that we have received your order.

An order confirmation does not necessarily mean the order has shipped or that inventory has been finally confirmed.

Our team will verify product availability and review the order details before fulfillment.

If an item is unavailable, backordered, or expected to experience a significant delay, we will contact you to discuss available options.

Order Processing

Most in-stock orders are processed for shipment within approximately 1–4 business days, and many orders may ship sooner.

Processing times are estimates and may vary based on the manufacturer, warehouse, product availability, freight-carrier scheduling, weekends, holidays, weather, and other circumstances outside our control.

If we become aware of a significant delay affecting your order, we will make reasonable efforts to provide you with an updated estimated timeline.

Shipping Confirmation

Once tracking or shipment information becomes available, we will send it to the email address or contact information provided with your order.

Please keep in mind that freight shipments may not generate tracking information in the same manner or as quickly as standard UPS or FedEx shipments.

If you have not received shipping information within approximately 5 business days after placing an in-stock order, please contact us and we will be happy to check the status for you.

Shipping Methods

The shipping method depends primarily on the size, weight, quantity, and destination of the Equipment.

Smaller products typically ship through parcel carriers such as UPS or FedEx.

Larger products—including vehicle lifts, tire equipment, wheel-service equipment, and other heavy shop equipment—typically ship by LTL freight carrier.

Large or oversized orders may be transported by dedicated truck, flatbed, Seller-arranged delivery, or another appropriate transportation method.

The specific shipping method may vary depending on the product, manufacturer, warehouse, and destination.

Freight Deliveries

Many of the products we sell are too large or heavy for normal parcel delivery and must be delivered by commercial freight carrier.

For freight shipments, the carrier will generally contact the customer using the telephone number provided with the order when an appointment is required.

Please make sure the phone number provided with your order is accurate and that you can be reached by the freight carrier.

Missed delivery appointments, incorrect contact information, inaccessible delivery locations, or other customer-caused delivery problems may result in additional carrier charges.

Unloading Your Shipment

Unless unloading or white-glove delivery is specifically included with your order, the customer is responsible for unloading freight shipments.

Depending on the Equipment purchased, unloading may require a forklift, tractor, skid steer, loading dock, tow truck, rollback, or other equipment capable of safely handling the shipment.

Lift-gate service is not suitable for every automotive lift or oversized shipment and should not be assumed to be included unless specifically stated.

If you are unsure how your Equipment will need to be unloaded, contact us before ordering or before delivery. We will be happy to explain what will be required.

White-Glove Delivery & Installation

For customers looking for a more complete solution, You Lift Me Up offers white-glove delivery and installation services in qualifying areas.

Depending on the service purchased, white-glove service may include:

  • delivery;

  • unloading;

  • placement;

  • assembly;

  • vehicle lift installation;

  • setup; and

  • customer orientation.

The exact services included will be stated on your quotation, invoice, or order agreement.

Outside our normal service area, we may also be able to refer you to an experienced independent installer familiar with the equipment we sell.

Contact us before ordering if you are interested in delivery and installation options.

Inspect Your Shipment Before Signing

Please inspect all freight shipments carefully before signing the delivery receipt.

Before the driver leaves:

  1. Inspect the packaging and Equipment for visible damage.

  2. Verify that the number of pieces received matches the delivery documents.

  3. Look for crushed, bent, torn, punctured, opened, or missing packaging.

  4. Photograph any visible damage.

  5. Clearly note all damage or shortages on the driver’s delivery receipt before signing.

Do not rely solely on the driver’s statement that damage is minor or that a claim can be handled later.

Noting damage on the delivery receipt creates an important record for the freight claim process.

Damaged Shipments

If your shipment arrives with visible damage:

Do not sign the delivery receipt as being received in perfect condition.

Clearly describe the damage on the delivery receipt before signing and take photographs of:

  • the entire shipment;

  • damaged packaging;

  • damaged Equipment;

  • shipping labels;

  • pallet or crate condition; and

  • the completed delivery receipt, when possible.

Please contact You Lift Me Up as soon as possible, preferably within 24 hours of delivery, and send us your photographs and order information.

We will work with you, the manufacturer, distributor, and/or freight carrier as appropriate to help resolve the issue.

Failure to inspect the shipment or document visible damage at delivery may affect the ability to successfully pursue a freight claim.

Concealed Damage

Sometimes freight damage is not visible until the packaging has been removed.

If you discover concealed damage, stop unpacking when practical, preserve the packaging, take detailed photographs, and contact us immediately.

Please do not discard pallets, crates, cartons, packaging, or damaged components until the claim has been reviewed or you have been advised that they are no longer needed.

Missing Items or Shortages

If your shipment appears to be missing packages, parts, or Equipment, please contact us as soon as possible and preferably within 48 hours of delivery.

Whenever possible, note any shortage on the delivery receipt before the freight driver leaves.

We will work with the applicable manufacturer, warehouse, distributor, or carrier to investigate the shortage and determine the appropriate resolution.

Delivery Delays

Delivery and shipping dates are estimates and are not guaranteed unless specifically agreed to in writing.

Delays may occur because of:

  • manufacturer or warehouse delays;

  • freight-carrier scheduling;

  • weather;

  • road conditions;

  • equipment shortages;

  • supply-chain interruptions;

  • holidays;

  • natural disasters;

  • incorrect customer information; or

  • other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We will make reasonable efforts to keep you informed when we become aware of a significant delay.

Address Changes

Please verify your shipping address carefully before placing your order.

Because many large Equipment orders ship by freight, changing a delivery address after an order has shipped may result in substantial freight-carrier charges.

Any additional carrier charges resulting from an address change, reconsignment, missed delivery, re-delivery, or inaccurate delivery information may be the customer’s responsibility.

Need an Order Update?

We believe you should be able to reach someone who actually knows the equipment and can help you.

When you contact You Lift Me Up, you’re dealing with a family-owned and operated, U.S.-based automotive equipment business—not a call center.
